The Green River in Utah has some of the best scenery of any trout stream in the country it truly is a National treasure. The crystal clear water is really a sight to behold especially while floating the Green River. To be able to look down into the river and literally see hundreds of trout at your feet is a one of a kind experience that you don't find on many other rivers, it is enuff to make even the most seasoned fly fisherman's knees tremble. You can see so many fish it really makes it tough to concentrate while fly fishing. Now you would think with so many fish in one place that the fishing would be so easy that any idiot could catch fish here. I hate to break it to you but without the help of a guide the fish on the Green River can be very tough to catch, although there are times when something special hatches on the Green River like for instance Cicada's or Mormon crickets,witch are not aquatic but rather terrestrial insects, the fly fishing can be out of this world.
