The Green is an amazing river. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, this place has you covered. In the winter the streamer fishing is second to none. From late March thru early May we have great blue wing olive hatches and again in September and October. In May and June there are cicadas. Ants, crickets, hoppers and beetles are a few other terrestrials that we have in abundance  during the summer months.      PMDs,Yellow Sallies during late June thru late July. Tricos in August.Caddis from July thru October. This is just some of the aquatic and terrestrial bug life that we have on the river, the fish are well fed. The fish average 14 to 18 inches. A 25 to 30 inch fish is possible. One thing you can say about the Green that you can't say about other places is that it has both awesome fishing and scenery, and the water is so clear that you see at least 12 feet down and watch the fish.I highly recommend a float trip on the Green, you will not regret it.
